"Inspired Nursing" is a program for ANY High School student, College student or other individual not currently in a health care-related program of study who is interested in exploring a professional career in nursing (age 16 years and older.) "Inspired Nursing" highlights the diversity of roles and opportunities that exist in nursing. The event begins with a brief, required training presentation regarding protecting patient privacy and confidentiality. Then an introduction about Penn State Health is included and will be followed by presentations by nurses practicing in a variety of roles and clinical areas.
The programming for these sessions will be IN PERSON at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
All participants must submit appropriate waivers before their registration can be finalized. On the day of the program, registration is from 7:30 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. The program begins promptly at 7:45 a.m. and concludes at 12 p.m.(noon). Please note that lunch WILL NOT be provided. We encourage you to bring along drinks and snacks.
(Note: Registration is not confirmed until the electronic registration is complete and the “Code of Conduct/Waiver/Confidentiality Agreement” is received.) Participants will then receive additional details and specifics regarding the location after the registration is confirmed.
